Lawyer in general and international lawyer in particular is always one of the best choice for law student.
According to Decision no. 123/QĐ-TT 2010, it is approved of the project “"Developing the staff of lawyers for international economic integration from 2010 to 2020", has set the target to building the staff of good lawyers that are excellent in professional skill in international law practice. Specifically, by the year 2020, the number of lawyers trained in the field of trade and investment is 1,000 people; in which the number of international attorneys is 150 people.
Keeping pace with the common trend, The University of Economics and Law in general and the Director Board of Faculty of Law in general have created the oppoturnity for students to learn deeply about “international lawyer” through the 10th Legal Talk with the topic “What international lawyers do? – the way to become an international lawyer, which took place at 9:00 a.m on April 5th, 2017.
The program was honored by the speaker - Lawyer Taehoon Choe and Vice Dean of Faculty of Law – Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung.
During the Legal Talk, Attoney Taehoon Choe shares about the experiences and positions that he has spent and the specific work which an international lawyer must do. Especially, he also emphasizes the oppoturnities and challenges of an international lawyers in integration nowadays.
In adition, he also mentions about the skills and how to train to become an international lawyer. And “don’t stop learning” is the most important thing not only in international lawyers but also in all areas of work.
The program attracted the participation of more than 50 law students of the University of Economics and Law. At the session, the students constantly ask the questions related to legal knowledge as well as difficulties when firstly exposed to this environment and received the positive response from the speaker. - Lawyer Taehoon Choe.
In the end of the Legal Talk, Faculty of Law believes that the thing that the speaker has shares for law student today, is the most useful and practical on the journey of pursuing their passion.
