Faculty of Law have signed cooperation agreement with Global Education Academy (GEA) and Viet Nam International Mediation Organization

At 10.30 on October 2nd, 2017, in room A.107, main administration building of University of Economics and Law, with the permission of School Board, Faculty of Law was honored to held ceremony of signing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Global Education Academy (GEA) and Vietnam International Mediation Organization (VIMO).

Participation in ceremony, Faculty of Law was pleased to welcome Mr. Thomas G. Giglione, Director of Global Education Academy, Chairman of Vietnam International Mediation Organization. On behalf of School Board, there was the participation of Assoc. Prof, Dr. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dien - Vice Rector of School. And from Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof, Dr. Mr. Le Vu Nam, Master Mrs. Bach Thi Nha Nam, Master Mrs. Le Thi Ngoc Yen and Bachelor of Law Mr. Le Hoai Nam – Lecturer of Faculty of Law attended the ceremony.

Global Education Academy and Vietnam International Mediation Organization are tending to cooperate with many universities in Viet Nam to promote, develop training program and grant certification in the field of mediation. On that basis, University of Economics and Law hopes to become trusted and suitable partner of Global Education Academy and Vietnam International Mediation Organization, since professional certification of GEA – VIMO is necessary for person conducting legal practice in Viet Nam nowadays. With the aim of getting more and more deeply in promoting the cooperation between two units, Faculty of Law and Global Education Academy and Vietnam International Mediation Organization signed Memorandum of Understanding.

According to bilateral agreement, Faculty of Law and GEA – VIMO will organized imitation mediation competitions in UEL only, which is premise for leading students at UEL registering in International Mediation Competition in Vienne, Austria in 2018. Moreover, it will be expanded to the Faculties of Law throughout the country of Vietnam.

In framework of ceremony, Mr. Thomas G.Giglione gave deep thanks and expressed enthusiasm for the next agreements. Assoc.Prof, Dr. Mr. Le Vu Nam have been highly appreciated the good faith for cooperation from GEA and VIMO and on behalf of UEL and Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof, Dr. Mr. Le Vu Nam gave souvernirs for Mr. Thomas.Giglione.
