From March 10 to 12, 2026, the Faculty of Law at the University of Economics and Law (UEL), VNU-HCM, in collaboration with the University, welcomed an external assessment team from the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) to conduct the accreditation of the Master’s program in Civil Law and Civil Procedure.
As one of the flagship programs of the Faculty of Law, the Master’s in Civil Law and Civil Procedure underwent this assessment to reaffirm the Faculty's steadfast commitment to maintaining and continuously elevating the highest academic standards for postgraduate students.
During the three-day working session, the AUN-QA expert team, led by Dr. Alyssa M. Peleo-Alampay, carried out rigorous and objective professional activities, including:

In-depth Interviews: The team held direct working sessions with the Faculty leadership, academic staff, support personnel, current students, alumni, and representatives from employers and partner organizations.

Site Visits: Inspection of the campus facilities, classrooms, library, and various student support services provided by the University.

Evidence Review: A thorough examination of key aspects, including program objectives, expected learning outcomes, curriculum content, and assessment methods.
Dr. Alyssa M. Peleo-Alampay, the lead assessor, expressed her high regard for the meticulous preparation and the strong commitment demonstrated by the Faculty of Law’s leadership and staff toward the continuous improvement of educational quality.
The findings and recommendations provided by the expert team will serve as a vital foundation for the Faculty of Law to further refine its curriculum and enhance the prestige of the Master’s program in Civil Law and Civil Procedure within the Southeast Asian higher education landscape.
