Being a part of the sequence of events celebrating World Creativity and Innovation Day 21 April, World Intellectual Property Day 26 April and Vietnam Science and Technology Day 18 May, the Final Round of “Students and intellectual property rights (S&IP) - 2022” Competition was held at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology in cooperation with the Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) and Intellectual Property Office on the morning of May 28, 2022.
Under the direction of the University of Economics and Law (VNU-HCM) and the Academic Council of the Faculty of Law, two teams of the Faculty of Law excellently entered the final round of this year's competition with 3 other teams from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Eastern International University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
After four intense rounds, two teams from the University of Economics and Law were highly appreciated by the Jury and experts. Therefore, they convincingly won the third prize and the consolation prize of this year's competition. As follows:
- Team from the Associated Organ of Vietnamese Students’ Association, Faculty of Law including students: Nguyen Kieu Lan Phuong (K19503T); Quan Thuc Quyen (K19503); Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Tam (K19503) excellently won the third prize.
- Team from CLE including students: Luong Thi Thu Thao (K20503C); Le Doan Mai Linh (K20502); Luong Quynh Huong (K19502C) won the consolation prize.
The competition has been contributing to the increasing awareness of intellectual property for the youth, the building of consciousness and responsibility around intellectual property rights, and the step-by-step formation of a culture of intellectual property in the community./.
