In October 2021, the UEL Team, comprising of Le Nguyen Hong Nhung (LL.M. student), Le Nhu Bao Tran, Phan Thu Ngan, and Nguyen Anh Thu (LL.B. students), under the guidance of Lecturer Nguyen The Duc Tam, participated in the International Mediation Singapore (IMSG) Competition 2021. The IMSG 2021 is an academic competition that brings together 48 teams from more than 30 countries and territories. The Competition facilitates cultural exchange and equips participants with negotiation and mediation skills.

During the preparation and participation in the Competition, the UEL Team has honorably received the attention of the Party Committee – Board of Rectors of the University of Economics and Law, the Party Cell Committee – Dean’s Committee of the Faculty of Law, as well as the support of several commercial mediators from the Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center (VICMC).

This year, the UEL Team achieved a Bronze Medal for the Mediator and a Bronze Medal for Mediation Advocacy. Despite the language barrier, the UEL Team has always tried its best to promote the positive image of UEL students to international friends.
